Prabhu deva’s wife Latha is on a hunger strike to protest against his relationship with Nayanthara

Prabhudeva’s wife Latha is not willing to let go of him, definitely not without a fight. Ever since Prabhudeva confessed that he was in a relationship with actress Nayanthara and would be marrying her after divorcing his first wife, Latha has been hitting back at him. Latha had already approached a family court in Chennai, saying that she didn’t want a divorce and wanted to reunite with her husband. And now she has gone on an indefinite hunger strike to protest against Prabhudeva’s relationship with Nayanthara.
The court, meanwhile, has summoned Prabhudeva and Nayanthara on October 19.
It seems that Latha has appealed to the court that Prabhudeva and Nayanthara should not attend events or project themselves as a couple, as this causes her a loss of reputation.
Some womens groups in Chennai have also taken up Latha’s cause and joined the protests against Nayanthara by burning her photographs.
So will Prabhudeva marry Nayanthara despite all this or will he wait for the storm to blow over? Watch this space for updates.

As we all know that Prabhu Deva’s wife Latha aka Ramalath approached the Chennai Family Court on Oct 4 insistent to direct her husband not leave her. And she requests the court to reunion with her husband and she is not willing to take divorce from her husband.
All NGO’s and human right organisation committees are opposing the relationship with Prabhu Deva and Nayantara. And women and human rights organisations, during their agitation Tuesday morning, also burnt a statue of Nayantara and raised slogans against her for “bringing disregard to Tamil culture”.
The human right organisation said to media that we will show black flags to Nayanatara where ever she goes. There are reports that Ramalath had threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike if her husband married Nayantara.

Nayanthara meets Rajini at Sun studios

Nayanthara completed her first ad shoot for Pothys at Sun studios, the cameraman for this ad was Ratnavelu and make up was done by Banu both were part of Enthitan team.
Rajini was their shooting on same studio but in another floor for Enthiran promotion. Great news is that, Rajini himself walked into sets where the pothys ad shoot was happening and exchanged pleasantries with everyone. Nayan was very happy to see Superstar Rajinikanth on her set.
Girija Raghavan the consultant publicist of Pothys said: “Nayanthara is the brand ambassador for our designer sarees which we are launching for Diwali. It is one the most expensive shoots that we have done so far. The classy set which resembled an art gallery was designed by Selva (of Madhrasapattinam fame). Motion control camera operated by foreign technicians under the guidance of Scott was used to show multiple Nayanthara’s in a single frame, something which is done for the first time in an ad shoot.”

Robo – Rajnikanth scores again – Movie Review

Those in the know are aware that ’superstar’ Rajnikanth is perceived to be in the image of god. Rajni makes fewer mistakes during the course of a film, than god. In “Robo” this perception is taken a step further as Rajni creates a robot – in his own image.
Robotics scientist Vashikaran (Rajni) creates a humanoid robot Chitthi (Rajni). After Chitthi’s inability to feel causes him to be rejected from inclusion in the Indian Army, Vashikaran tries to create feelings in him, and thanks to a freak of nature, succeeds. Only it causes problems, as Chitthi falls in love with Vashikaran’s fiancee Sana (Aishwarya Rai). As the creator and creation are locked in a jealous battle against each other, the jealous robotics scientist Dr. Bohra plans to misuse Chitthi for wrong objectives.
Anyone who has seen a Rajnikanth film understands that often it is not the story that makes the film a success, but Rajni’s antics. There are plenty of them in the film. And, for once, his conception as a robot gives Rajni the logic, to lack logic.
There are gravity defying stunts, shooting with a finger, running horizontally at high speed on the side of a train, flying cars and bikes, corny but hilarious dialogues — e.g. after grabbing and pointing scores of guns at the police, he says ‘Happy Diwali’ before firing a salvo of bullets; or when the robot is asked his address and gives his IP address. It’s not just god, the universe and its logic itself is recreated in the film.
Director Shankar who has a penchant for double image, multiple images and split images of his heroes returns this time with hundreds of images of Rajnikanth. The inspiration of Hollywood, most predominantly the “Matrix” trilogy (stunts choreographed by Yuen Woo-ping of “Matrix” fame), “The Mask”, “I, Robot”, and many Frankenstein movies are evident, but not overbearing.
Where Shankar scores is the ingenious conception of stunts. The allegedly ‘poorer’ cousin of Bollywood, the south Indian film industry, has been growing leaps and bounds in the special effects department. And with a little help from Hollywood, like in “Robot”, it soars.
“Robo”, however, cannot boast of good music, so crucial for an Indian film. A.R. Rahman’s decision to rely on robotic sounds, which we have heard close to three decades back in films like “Robocop”, fails to inspire. He could have at least conceptualised them more intelligently.
Aishwarya’s character is as conventional as expected. She’s the chaste love interest, the damsel in distress who has time and again to be saved from being raped, and who is nothing more than eye candy.
Two words begin with the letter ‘R’ and are synonymous: Religion and Rajnikanth. A third has now been added to cinema folklore, ‘Robo’. And with the largest number of prints ever for an Indian film and a global release, this sexagenarian actor might still enter world cinema folklore. After all, Rajnikanth can make no mistakes.

Incidentally till now Ajith was reluctant to form his own production company as he wanted to concentrate only on acting. Speaking to the media, Ajith revealed that he would like to produce films in Aamir Khan’s way.
“Aamir Khan is known for making socially oriented films. Even my production company would give more preference to socially oriented films rather than commercial films” he said.
