Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, who is currently making a comeback in Tamil cinema with Dhanush starrer ‘Mappillai’, seems finally set to enter wedlock in Nepal, her motherland.
If reports are to be believed, the 40-year-old actress, who is the daughter of one of the most powerful political houses in Nepal, will marry Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal on June 19.
“Circles close to Manisha told me about a week ago that she is getting married in Nepal,” Nepali filmmaker Dipendra Khanal, whose upcoming venture ‘Dharma’ will mark the return of the actress to Nepali film industry, was quoted as saying.
The wedding will be a three-day extravaganza that is expected to see Mumbai’s stars descend on Kathmandu. The bridegroom was reportedly educated in the United States and is a well-known businessman.
Manisha, grand-daughter of Nepal’s first elected Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, is presently shooting in Kerala for a Telugu film and will return to Kathmandu on Friday, Dipendra Kanal reportedly added.
