director Hari and Prakash Raj is been successful with Ayya and Singam. The duo is now coming back with Vengai.
Director Hari always prefers to have Prakash Raj in his casting either in character roles or as an antagonist. Initially it is Kalabhavan Mani who was selected as villain opposite Dhanush, but due to some difference of opinions between director and him he left the offer. After this Hari approached Prakash Raj for donning the villain role and he accepted to do the film.
Vengai team is all happy with Prakash Raj joining them.
