After a long hiatus she is back in a Tamil film Mappillai which is the remake of the super hit Rajni film with the same title. Dhanush is doing the lead role.
Manisha Koraila is donning the role of Dhanush’s mother-in-law role which actress Srividhya did in the original role. Apart from this she has been signed to do the role of Nayanthara’s mother in a Malayalam film titled Electra.Director Shyam Prasad was little hesitant that whether she will do the role. But she agreed immediately. When asked her about this, she said,” When Shyam told me the story, I liked it very much and hence I agreed to act in it. The shooting of this will commence in the month of April.”
