Vijay is busy in shooting for his new film titled ‘Velayudham’ under the direction of Jayam Raja. This film is being produced by Aascar Ravichandran and has Genelia and Hansika playing the female leads. Cinematographer Priyan, who has worked for Surya starrer ‘Singam’, is wielding the camera for Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ also. Vijay Anthony is composing the music.
The film shooting is progressing at brisk pace and already it has completed its first schedule in Chennai for 15 days. A song was picturized on the lead pair for 8 days in a set erected for it of worth Rs 1 crore. The film is currently being shot in Golconda in Andhra Pradesh. Selvam, the stunt master has shot a stunt shot involving Vijay and stunt men.
